The Baptist Church, Kilmington gathers at The Beacon and draws people from across the rural Axe Valley and beyond. We’ve been around the area since 1650, so we have a great history. Read all about it here But most people want to know about the church of today. We are ordinary people with an extraordinary passion to be a Beacon for Jesus.
We aim to show the love of Jesus to everyone we meet in daily in our lives. That means you too! We have a congregation of over 140 people of all ages serving the community in a variety of ways.
We seek to be a Beacon for Jesus, living out our faith wherever we may be, and in whatever we do. Come and meet us soon!
Our Bible Verse for 2018 speaks of everyday life
We can't be strong in our own strength, but we can certainly be strong in the Lord's strength. We can pray our own list of wants and demands, or we can pray in the Spirit.
Our verse for the year always challenges us to live for the Lord - EVERY DAY The image of open hands illustrates that we are ready to receive, then ready to serve - EVERY DAY
