The Baptist Church, Kilmington gathers at The Beacon and draws people from across the rural Axe Valley and beyond. We’ve been around the area since 1650, so we have a great history. Read all about it here. But most people want to know about the church of today. We are ordinary people with an extraordinary passion to be a Beacon for Jesus.
We aim to show the love of Jesus to everyone we meet in daily in our lives. That means you too! We have a congregation of over 140 people of all ages serving the community in a variety of ways.
We are also a people with 20/20 Vision: that means we are longing, praying and keen to see twenty people get baptised as part of our congregation by the end of this year!
We seek to be a Beacon for Jesus, living out our faith wherever we may be, and in whatever we do. Our purpose-built facility is designed to be a blessing to the community. It is in use most days and available for hire. Come and meet us soon!
